How It Works
■ Do I need anything to buy glasses?
● You will need a valid prescription, signed & dated by your Optometrist (usually valid for 2-years)
■ Is your quality the same as the high street?
● We use the same manufacturers as most other retailers, so our quality is just as good.
■ Why are you often cheaper than other opticians?
● Our overheads are much lower, so we can pass on the savings to our customers.
■ Are your frames / lenses guaranteed?
● All frames, lenses and coating are guaranteed against manufacturing or workmanship defects.
■ Do you offer all types of lenses?
● Absolutely!! Because we’re not tied to one manufacturer, we can source a vast array of lenses to suit most needs.
■ How long does it take?
● We hold a large stock of single vision lenses, and with on-site glazing, we can often manufacture whilst you wait.
● Our ‘non-stock’ lenses, such as varifocals, are manufactured by UK suppliers, and as we’re free to choose the best solution for you, we think our turnaround is unbeatable.
■ Can you dispense to children?
● Because children may experience frequent changes in vision as they develop, and the service is provided by the NHS, we don’t currently dispense to anyone under 16.
■ How do I obtain my prescription?
● You should be provided with a signed & dated copy of your prescription following your eye examination. This is your document to use anywhere, in the same way you choose which chemist dispenses your GP prescription
■ Will you reglaze my existing frames?
● We’re happy to – sometimes people just find the perfect frame for them, and as long as it’s in a good condition, we’re happy to reglaze with new lenses.
